The Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to offer you a complimentary barbecue booklet, which includes recipes and tips for preparing your very own Santa Maria Style Barbecue.
Much of the information in the booklet is included here in this blog, but the booklet is definitely a handy item to keep in the kitchen.

Reading this, makes me homesick with a watering mouth. There are so many restaurants in So Cal that claim to serve Santa Maria Style Tri-Tip. But as soon as I hear what they season the meat with and how it’s cooked, I immediately change my choice to chicken. It’s not “Santa Maria Style” without SusieQ’s and the oak wood. Gotta love it!!!
