Yes, it was the Righetti’s private ranch. He visited for lunch outdoors, and the family prepared an authentic Santa Maria Style Barbecue for him. However, the ranch isn’t open to the public. The same family, however, runs the Far Western Tavern and Susie Q’s Brand.

Can’t seem to open the video? Did he actually visit a ranch in the video and eat dinner there? Do you know the name of the ranch he visited and whether the public can go there to eat? The place they ate in the show was NOT a sit down, indoor building. They were eating outside:)

Yes, that was the Righetti Ranch, it’s not open to the public, but the Minetti-Righetti family runs the Far Western Tavern as well as Susie Q’s Brand products. So you can get a very similar taste to what Bobby Flay got at the restaurant, and you can do it yourself with Susie Q’s seasoning and other products. Similar experiences include the Hitching Post and Shaw’s restaurants, and the Hitching Post’s BBQ2You products. Enjoy!

A few year’s back I saw a show where the host traveled to a working ranch somewhere in Central (coastal) California. If my memory serves me, the ranch had been in the same family for generations. Anyway, he was served great steaks and bbq. I was wondering if anyone nows where this place is and the show it was featured on? Is the ranch open to the public for dining?
